On this Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank all those who have served in the armed forces, both past and present. We are deeply grateful for the sacrifice, courage, and service of our veterans, who have defended our freedom and protected the values we hold dear. As we reflect on their dedication and sacrifice, we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross. Just as our veterans have given so much to ensure our safety and liberty, Jesus gave His life for the ultimate freedom we have in Him—freedom from sin and death. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." — John 15:13 Just as our veterans have laid down their lives for our country, Jesus laid down His life for us on the cross, offering salvation to all who believe in Him. His love is the greatest sacrifice of all—one that calls us to love and serve others with the same selflessness and commitment.
Today, let us honor both our veterans and the Savior who gave His life for us. As we remember the sacrifices of others, may we be inspired to live lives of service, humility, and love.
Thank you to all our veterans. Your courage and commitment do not go unnoticed. ❤️ We also remember the greater love of Christ, who laid down His life for us.
