Mission Focus Check & Connect Mentoring Program

Mission Focus

This morning, during our Mission focus, Ms. Christine, the local Jr/Sr Principal, discussed the Check & Connect mentoring program. She highlighted the opportunity for individuals to mentor some of our at-risk teens, helping them stay in school and make better life choices.

It's important to note that sometimes the church refrains from showing videos or updates to protect our missionaries in hostile regions.

Countless individuals today are in desperate need of hearing Jesus' invitation to healing. In areas where the gospel is scarcely known, who will share this message? If God is actively pursuing them, shouldn't we, as the church, be willing to send someone into their culture to proclaim and embody the gospel? Across the globe, entire nations, people groups, cities, towns, villages, refugee camps, and informal settlements remain largely unreached by the message of Jesus. It's imperative that we respond by going.

For over 130 years, the Alliance has been fervently dedicated to fulfilling Jesus' commission. We undertake this task collectively. The Alliance church family collaborates and supports international workers in their mission to bring the fullness of the gospel to every corner of the world.

I'm happy and proud to be a member of the Twin Valley Alliance Church. We are involved in many helpful spiritual opportunities in our church and community. I can't wait to get home and get involved with all these opportunities. This church has strengthened my faith more than anything I've been involved in.
